Something to download

Temperament: Headache
Record:"Closer" by NIN and "All That Could Have Been" by NIN (God I love that song)

So I'm sitting here pokeing around the internet looking for the next image to turn into a blog layout and I cam across an interesting piece of work. I looked into the artist and so forth and turns out that the image is a part of a series that started aring this year in Japan. Supposedly, it started off as a game and then turned into a graphic novel and eventually it was turned into a show. The art work is obviously what got me. It's a constant arguement with people but I just can't watch something if the asthetics aren't there. Don't get me wrong I mean some would say that the art in JTHM is terrible but I don't think so. The art work is perfect for the message. That's the point I suppose. I'm sure someone will understand this rant. It makes me think of Kare Kano...whose animation isn't the best but the stills, polarized frames, and sketches are perfect for conveying the emotion there.

Anyway the show is called Fate/Stay Night. You should definately google it I suggest looking up Archer, Assasin, Rin T?saka, and Rider. Those are the images that got me to raise an eyebrow. There is a Saber too that resembels Sophita from Soul Caliber. The character that got my attention had to be Archer. Something about his art style and the description of his character made me smile. It reminded me of Sagura Sanosuke. We'll see how it goes I'm downloading the first episode...which hopefully has subtitles.

So yea....still no job T_T
Cheers,
Kim
P.S. There will be links on the left soon...I promise lol

Finally, We Can End This Life and Start The Next

Temperament: Nauseous
Record:Ben playing Kingdom Hearts 2

So today we FINally cleared the house. After 2-3 weeks of packing cleaning, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, ans all sorts of crazy shit that could have been done in less time if someone anyone had bothered to listen to one another, but hell its this family.

Today was also my dad's retirement ceremony...which was kinda stupid because my dad doesn't even go on terminal leave until the 1st of June and isn't offically out until July 1st. Now we are loking for a house since we're still in this apartment. Ben and I are sharing a room whihci isn't a surprise because well he's slept in my bed with me since he was a baby. So yeah.

I realized about a week into this process that I'm helping this family for no reason. I mean by August when they are getting dozy in a new house I'll be moving back into the dorms, and I dont plan on going home next summer. So I'm probably never going to live in this new house, retirement, glory bullshit.

Whatever...

Um new layout entirely designed the day before I moved out of the dorms. It was trapped on my comp because only one of the comps here had internet. For some reason my middle picture is blurry. It wasn't when I uploaded it or when I designed it so I was a little pissed. The picture is from Magna Carta, which I've never played but have always wanted to because of the artwork. I finally sat down and figured out layers and blah blah in Paint Shop so I'm pretty proud of this one. Opinions would be nice...and that's really about it..

oh job search continues...so far no luck at all it's kinda discouraging. Oh well...
Cheers,
Kim

Temperament: Tired
Record: Fox News

So finally I'm going to freakin blog for real. Anyway, the movers are coming tomorrow to pack up everything. It's about freakin time I'm tired of packing and sorting and tossing. I'm just tired of it. On top of it all, after the movers finish, my family (Dad and Ben) and I will be moving a few more things up to Augusta. I'm still not too clear if it's the same day or if we're going to make 2 trips on Friday. I've never driven any place and back in the same day...let alone do it a few times. If we were driving on 16 I would be in trouble. It's too long with nothing to look at. Since we're doing backroads I should be fine. The worst part of the trip is the 60 miles around here...which consists of trees and road.

Anyway, I just got done cutting my stuff off the wall. Yes cutting. I taped some things up 4 years ago and they haven't moved since lol. I should have taken a picture of the arrangement of the things but I think I can remember the order. Most of it were things that Geimer had given me....at least 6 full color print outs of Angel Sanctuary wallpapers. There was also the laminated Setsuna poster that Luaren and Catherine got me when I turned 16. The calendar for 2003 when Peter went to Japan came down (it was push pinned up). An Angel Sanctuary calendar from 2003 came down too. Several of Peter's notes and sketches finally came down. A picture a girl drew at the language fair from like 2002. I even had some drawings from Kevin Vito, this kid I knew in middle school. The last thing to come down from that wall was a concept sketch that Lum did many years ago.

I also took down the scrolls. Most of them I bought for myself...it's a little weird. Honestly, there were only 2 left up. There are usually 4 up but Yuna and my Rosiel+Setsuna one are in Augusta already. The scrolls were spike sippling Tequilla and reading and one that Junior bought me of Kenshin and Karou. When I was putting them away I saw that I had 3 more stored away. 2 I had bought and one Daniel gave me. I never put that one up...it was too dark. Which is kinda odd to say.

Now all my walls are bear. The only thing in there is a chair, a bed, the TV with the Playstation attached to it (oh Ben and I are keeping that hting out to the last second--we're both working on the completion of a game)

On that subject (video games)I haven't bought myself a game in a very long time...I think the last one I bought was DDR at like Christmas. I think I buy one game every year. Anyway I bought Resident Evil 4 last week...beat it...both ways. It made me happy. I liked it. I played Kingdom Hearts for a while but kinda got bored with it. Not nearly as challenging as RE4. I mean...Kingdom Hearts is kinda...push forward X and triangle. Anyway Ben beat it a week after he got it too so I already saw the ending. I'm going around doing completion tasks.

And so that's me...that's what's going on. I'm glad we're almost moved. The sooner we go up to Augusta the sooner I can get a job. I've applied like 3 different places. So here's hoping. Oh NOTE TO PETER:I accidentally packed up your address when I was moving from Macon can you please e-mail me with your address? Thankie.

And I guess that is all. I have to get Ben soon.

Cheers.

Decorated Emergency

Temperament: Stressed yet somehow flightly
Record:"Camisado" by Panic! At the Disco

Working "diagently" on the three or four papers I have due tomorrow and I was listening to this song and it made me think of a few things . anyway they're kinda here as a place holder.

CAMISADO

This is the scent of dead skin on a linoleum floor.
This is the scent of quarantine wings in a hospital
And it's not so pleasant. And it's not so conventional
it sure as hell ain't normal, but we deal, we deal.
The anesthetic never set in and I'm wondering where
the apathy and urgency is that I thought I phoned in.
No it's not so pleasant. And it's not so conventional
it sure as hell ain't normal, But we deal, we deal.

Sit back, relax.
Sit back, relapse. again and again.

You can take the kid out of the fight but you cant take the fight out of the kid

You're a regular decorated emergency.
the bruises and contusions will remind you what you did when you wake.
you've earned a place atop the ICU's hall of fame.
The camera caught you causing a commotion on the gurney again.
(2nd highest all time number of curses, swears and punches)

Why me?

Temperament: Sleepy as all get out
Record:"JING~Girl" Scudelia Electric

So please tell me why it is that not only did I have the 9 am Great Books Disscussion class 3 times a week this year AND it's the first final of the week. Not only that but it was the last class I had I think...please someone explain it to me. I think if you have a 9 am class it should get some mercy. And for the poor souls getting up at 8, they shouldn't even have a final.

So no I didn't procrastinate on this paper. It was simply the fact that since I had two other papers to do for the last day of class in other classes I didn't have time to get to this one. On top of that, we didn't finish the book for this paper until two days ago. Right now I'm blogging just to watch my printer print. It's low on ink, it being the end of the year and all, and I want to see if I have to go to the library and print this thing out. It's sooooo long. I find that papers I have to BULL SHIT my way through are really hard to write because they get redundant. Last year I wrote a paper on Hamlet and it was lik 15-18 pages and I loved every word of it.

So maybe I procrastinated a little. I had one page left last night to finish up. All I had to do was write a conclusion and I swear I spent half the night on AMV.org and the other half trying to figure out where I could buy (yes, buy) Jing, King of Bandits in 7th Heaven. Ben has all the manga and the box set from the series (MWHAHAH THANKS TO ME....his collection is faaaar better than mine because I'll buy him something before I buy myself something) and this is the last piece. It seems that the OVA (that's what the DVD is basically) is fairly knew because it is NO WHERE to be found!!! I found several places to download it from though. I guess I'll just have to wait. I really liked the show and the books.

And then there was Saturday night. I was online talking to Rachel and Quita on IM until oh 1. Then I stayed up until like 3 or 4 talking to Geimer. I had more than half of my paper written at that point but I got distracted you know. Anyway I'm paying for it now. I've had like 4 hours of sleep spread across 2 or 3 days. I plan to come back from my final and go to sleep.

So...the ink is strarting to go grey. As long as the damn thing prints I don't care. The other course offered this season of this class only had to write a 4 page paper on this book.

::SIGH:: SO UNFAAAAIR~

Obviously it's almost summertime because I'm blogging again. I was thinking about changing the layout...but I don't see that getting dome until much later. I have to help my family move this summer and I'll be working. Where I have no idea but there seem to be a million places in Augusta. I'm thinking of trying to get a job at the bookstore. I'm a little hesitatnt because...um people like me go to book stores...which means very little social interaction. Just shelve the books you know? Or call people and tell them that their book has come in. Personally I can't stand talking to strangers on the phone but I guess I'll have to get over it. Wost case scenario I'll work at a Waffle House...which is actually option B. Some of you may be looking down your nose at the Waffle House idea but they actually make between $6-12 and hour not including tips.

Damn...the second paper (yes I have to turn in two) isn't printing....fuck I now have to go the library and print this crap out. Damn it.

Someone anyone save me.....
